Question: My Painted Turtle just laid an egg!  I have had her since she was 4”.  She is kept with my brother’s Juvenile Red-eared Slider.  What is going on?  Is she pregnant?

The Radiated Tortoise has the standard high domed carapace of all tortoises, but in the center of each plate there are beautiful yellow lines radiating out. This tortoise has smooth scutes and the star pattern is much more intricate and finely defined than that other star tortoises.
