The Pinning Hook uses Midwest's standard snake hook's long handle, but uses a different capturing end. In place of a solid hook of metal hook pressing down on the snake's neck, the end turns into a Y and stretched across the Y end is a section of surgical rubber tube. The animal's head stays caught underneath the surgical rubber tube for safe keeping, but is a lot more humane. The rubber tube can adjust to provide more or less pressure for your personal safety as well as the animal's. The gap of the pinning Y area would be 1 1/2".
This pinning hook is approximately 40 inches long.
