Once a sea turtle hatches it must dig its way from the nest to the surface of the beach. The hatchling then must decide which way to the ocean. One of the most common reasons the hatchlings lose their directions is man-made light. Another challenge for the hatchlings are predators who see them and a convenient meal. It is estimated that only 1 in 1000 hatchlings make it to adulthood. Pictured on the front and back of this 100% preshrunk cotton T-shirt are the Flatback Sea Turtle, Loggerhead Sea Turtle, Green Sea Turtle, Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle, Olive Ridley Sea Turtle, Leatherback Sea Turtle and Hawksbill Sea Turtle.
