The manatee has very few predators, so they generally move at about 5 mph. This sometimes causes conflicts between boats and the manatee. Let boaters know that there is a No Wake area for the manatee. Just so you know the manatee can swim 15 mph for short periods of time. The sign has three manatees drifting across you sign.
